James Fucking Cameron.

As much as I love Aliens, T1 and 2 and The Abyss, I hate the man himself.

Mainly for what he said about Pirhanna 3D.  Saying that it was an embarrassment to 3d and just went back to bullshit 80s horror 3d style.  HELLO YOU FUCKING STUPID SHIT.  P3D was supposed to be a retarded 80s fucking horror flick.  The movie was pure popcorn entertainment.  And it was 90000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times more entertaining than that cartoon he made avatar. 

AND even more, your first fucking movie (now im talking to you james cameron as you cock eater) was Piranha 2!  With fucking flying piranhas.  Don;t bash the type of film that got you started you ass shit fuck.

i almost bought an original piranha 2 poster, but i didnt want james cameron's name on my wall. i do like the movie though. i remember watching a double feature of both Piranha's when i was like...8..so, mad sentimental attachment.
i was always kinda under the impression that Assonitis had some directing credit with that as well, but who knows.

agreed though, cameron's a fuckin dickhead loser.

You're probably thinking of Adam McKay and that caliber of director. Sadly, I have some weird fondness and/or sickness for Will Ferrel, and generally watch anything he's in.

no sadness, what you are entertained by is your guilt hah. just playin...

 Besides, I have been subjected to alot of those movies (TBS ugh) in the county so my view isnt fair...that and I had a pretty extreme biasedness going on at a very early age so I had to shake it just to let myself smile in a time that wasnt always pleasant.

What it is for whatever reason is I couldnt think of any director I so much hate anymore...I just pretty much dont react to them like I was known to do in past years. so time has won to some degree...but time has yet to run its course.

I am bored/drunk, an have re-read this fucking thread.

A couple of points: Tarantino & Lynch...

Tarantino: Most of what we watch is derivative from something or other, but most directors will not admit so...yet, Frankenstein-head will tell you every single influence of every movie that he inserts in his films. Unabashedly. It's very simple, see...every thought of ours derives from something else. And we have no thoughts as it is...see...but someone pieced together what he knew from his passion into a multimillion dollar industry...and admits every minuscule influence. Yet, he is shit shat upon because he is known. Because the working-class drones have known no better.

Lynch: Lynch is a beast on his own. I cannot describe his work. But I've always been over the moon with it. Nothing will compare to his work...from Eraserhead, to Inland Empire. Nearly 40 years in between the two. Yet...the same words are spat about him. It's not a matter of "getting it"...it's a matter of "no one gets it". Yeah? Who cares?
