Ok i thought of a legit reason to hate TPB that i think you can all sympathize with

growing up in a smaller town my tv options were restricted, as well as internet, I was basically given 30 channels. Out of all these channels showcase became my favorite when i was about 16. Back then friday nights on showcase was the "Late Revue". I'm not sure if anyone remembers it, but it was movies, more specifically erotic, foreign movies. Through this i became familiar with a lot of movies that today i still have respect for, it introduced me to Emmanuel and Jess Franco, as well as more modern classics. These movies, being the age that i was had a huge influence on who i became in far of my views of sexuality, and respect for women. It showed women as powerful (ans generally hairy) an archetype which is not shown in porn, which kids of that age now easily consume.

With trailer park boys quickly came the fall of the late revue, it was pushed back at first time slot wise to make space for trailer park boys, and then with the success of the show it soon destroyed the late revue as showcase started to run reruns of trailer park boys much into the night.

i think this is better reason to dislike the show, i wish i made this my argument but it only occurred to me when i was remenicing about this the other day.

That's not a legit reason to hate the content within Trailer Park Boys. It is more or less a reason to hate Showcase if anything.

I used to watch the showcase revue when I seen something horror-oriented.     Caught Perdita Durango and Day of the Beast on there one night .

I've only watched one episode of TPB; where they were throwing barbecues into a lake/pond or something.  It didn't keep me interested.
