**All the problems are worked out and this is no longer applicable**
Funeral Laugh and I have decided, in respect of a few shady characters we've been receiving as of late, to enforce all registrations to be approved by an administrator before they can join the games. If you are genuinely interested in joining, shoot us a quick message after registration and you will more than likely be approved within hours. Chances are you'll be blindly accepted immediately if you don't have Viagra, Oxycontin, Cialis, etc...in your username/email.
Thanks for understanding.

Ya know, in the good old days when I was one of the powerful people here, I suggested that we make this a members-only board, and folks danced all over my head about it. Now, not only have you done so, but you're going to extra lengths to make the board even more restricted.
Not that I'm complaining. This is more like a "ha ha--I was correct" sort of post.

Granted, we were not bombarded with consistent would-be spammers at the time. This is now an absolute necessity as were are receiving upwards to 20 membership requests a day--all of them of course spammers.

I see. But on the other hand, I was somewhat wise in my drunken, idiotic ways, no? Maybe just a bit?

You are forever wise. But I'd sum this one up on clairvoyance.

Hey, wait, isn't clairvoyance all about being able to locate stuff at a distance? That has nothing, I say, nothing to do with anything!

It still works:

2. Acute intuitive insight or perceptiveness.

Ah. Well then, I'll take the compliment and leave it at that.

Maybe soon we'll decide to randomly delete threads for no reason too...

Casting aspersions whilst creating spelling errors can leave one open to the most unoriginal retaliations. I am above all that, but you know, just saying.

Typos are hardly spelling errors. A spelling error suggests that the author doesn't know how to spell a word. I'll have you know that I am fully aware that "randomly" contains one "l".
Padding one's sentences with superfluous thesaurus-led lingo is pretentious at best.

Well, you're mistaken right off the bat. I certainly did not delete "random" threads for "no reason". I deleted every post ever created by the user named ScaryLarry. In doing so, I inadvertently destroyed some long-running threads which I had happened to initiate--for that, I am very sorry--it was not my intention, and I was quite horrified to see what had happened when I was done.
At that point, I was pretty convinced I was going to do myself in. I wanted no trace of myself left upon this world.
Yeah, it's fucking pathetic, I know. What the fuck ever. I was in a bad place. I'm much better now. I've got rid of various people and drugs from my life. But I certainly did not intend to wreak the havoc here that I did. I can honestly say that I never intended anyone else's posts to be deleted except for my own.
Don't think this is me wanting to rejoin the team here. As I told Graham before, I don't trust myself not to do something equally idiotic again. I always thought there were too many administrators here anyway. I'm just happy to have a place here that is not run by someone such as, say, DS, who starts up board after board and inevitably shuts them all down. Please, just fucking keep on keeping on.

I feel ya, Larry. You just reminded myself of... myself. I had a fleetin' tick of a mental power outage last month. I still haven't kicked the xanax yet, but in due time. That may very well be the source of this blather, too. That said, it's awesome that we can say and know we are progressing like we never believed we could. Anyways, I enjoy your posts, even if I don't respond to 'em. I enjoy what everyone here has to offer. The wordy swap isn't just inane garble, unlike other forums contain. Cheers and carry on, please.
