Another contest?

Is this something you want to put together yourself, OJ. Or could it be something we could create on our own[a project]? Do you prefer a theme in which you can apply your time and effort into?

Creating our own project would be ideal. Toss around some ideas here and there. No theme necessary. Probably something outside of basic trivia as we exercised in our last contest.

odd thought...

perhaps a vague scaveneger hunt, that OJ can just judge by who sends him the best stuff.. that way we are giving back, feels community oriented.. for a possible prize I hope we would all be willing to pay 7 dollars to send some stuff in the mail.. All things in the scavenger hunt have to be minimum budget, nothing bought, has to be already own, or can be constructed from owned materials....

Then again that means OJ giving you his mailing address, and I don't know if he actually wants us mailing stuff... you could PM it to the members willing to compete, that way you know exactly who is involved.

That's definitely something different. And very ambitious. Of course, I'd probably just get hideously drunk and tell everyone to send me 1-sheets for a meager gift certificate in return.
Kevin mentioned a scavenger hunt in the mod forum when I brought this topic up. But, of a much smaller scale. Something amongst the lines of disabling the search function and have everyone snooping around for specific answers deep within the board.

I like this scavenger hunt idea, though I sorta don't get it - though, I sorta do.

i dont wanna search for shit on the board. i like the idea of having to use our god damned brains & that there's no specific answer to be given. we could design something, write something, adam's idea of scavenger hunt based on a thought or feeling & we interpret it however.....something like that would be fun. that way it's entertaining to all senses & we don't just search for something specific.

*ahem* i have a nice little collection of mst3k original one sheets that i don't hang....i could probably part with one.

I don't think my idea would be that complex.. think about it.. It can not just be very little budget but we would not be able to send anyhting of great worth.. Have to be creative and try to impress.. you could take pics of the stuff we send, and then make fun of us.. I know how you like to make fun of us OJ.
