So, just curious what the flock thinks of the new design that Mr. Funeral Laugh has been slaving over for the past while.

There may be issues with those who are not on widescreen monitors (optimization, the board itself being encroached by the static background, etc...), but I really don't know and need your input on the issue as it looks great on widescreen.

In any event, I think it looks fantastic, and will inevitably propel us into a much higher standard  :thumbs:

I think it looks great. As for the non-widescreen issue, not my problem. :D

I like it.  However, I'm plagued by the non-widescreen problem.  Since I've never seen the site in widescreen, I don't know the difference.

Allow me to briefly use you as a guinea pig then:

Is the static background hinder the board itself for you?

Is the text now too small for you?

I'm not wide screen either and the site looks fine...Text is clear and nothing looks crunched...

Everything is accessible as it was before and nothing is too small.  The layout actually looks zoomed in comparison to the old setup.
