Zombie Walk 2008 Upstate NY

I doubt we have anyone willing to travel but I figured I would post this anyway.

Lake Country Players and yours truely is hosting a Zombie Walk to benefit community theater.

Date: October 25th 2008
Time: Registration at 4:00, Walk at 5:00 (subject to change)
Location: Watkins Glen, NY (exact location to be determined at a later date)
Price: $5.00

Come in your best zombie costume and terrorize the town...while supporting community theater. There will hopefully be a party afterwards with prizes for best zombie costumes. Details of event may change because they are in the begining stages. Any questions, PM me.

We've had these in Calgary for the past couple of years if I'm not mistaken. For some reason, I am initially excited but as the event nears I come to my senses and figure "why in the fuck do I want to spend all day lurching around like a zombie?". I'd rather live like a zombie vicariously through the movies.

Well I saw how big they end up being in other places, and I figured with the large college population we have in this area that it has potential. So I used it as a fundraising idea for my theater group.

In that case, you should hand out fliers and put up posters of the event at the local colleges.

Yep already got that covered. Advertising for it is going everywhere, we are mainly doing word of mouth and flyers and online postings.
