As reported here, we have just learned that our dear friend and colleague Nikos Nikolaidis has died.Nikos was the director of SINGAPORE SLING. An amazing film that we at Synapse Films are very proud to have released in the U.S. The film was a problematic one that took us, literally, years of hard work to restore properly. Nikos was extremely happy with our results (our transfer rivaled the original Greek release). Jerry and I are extremely saddened by this news.

The cause of death is reported as pulmonary edema.

R.I.P. Nikos. You will be missed.

That's too bad, but it appears he lived a full life all the same.

I've still yet to see Singapore Sling. I lost it when we had to reformat the hard-drive.
