A doctor's son is dying of leukemia so he takes the obvious treatment route - he transplants the heart of a gorilla into the dying lad in order to pump the super-strong gorilla blood through his body to rid it of the disease. Meanwhile, female luchadore wrestlers fight and shit. The gorilla boy turns into a savage ape man who quickly escapes and goes on a rampage around town tearing women's clothes off and raping/killing them. Mayhem ensues

Ok, 3 words: So. Fucking. Awesome. This film is chock full of gore, sleaze, and a plot so bizarre it has to be experienced to really be appreciated. Marvel at how they try to scientifically explain the logistics of the surgery and its healing properties! See real open heart surgery footage! Ogle the ample naked boobies! What more can you ask for? 

I've owned the Something Weird DVD for years now, and ya know what...I just realized I've never seen this. I'll need to rectify that soon.
