That's what's so great about it.

death2u, I recommend you guys hold out until you find a movie you both really disagree on. Then videotape that. Sure-fire entertainment value there, especially if you both become really nasty about it.

Next time you're here, we're reviewing Nekromantik. On video. We'll be celebrities by the end of the night from the cataclysmic argument that will commence.

Oh, absolutely. We'll start drinking hard liquor a half hour before the movie. By the end of the review, Nancy will be calling the police.  lol

Absolute truth. I'll be certain to have the sound cranked just to embed that "awful soundtrack" deep within your recesses.

great review guys! :) hehee. i was just wondering yesterday why there hasnt been a new vid posted....thanks for quenching my thirst.
William Sadler is the "kinda well known" actor i think you were referring to...he's done alot of shit in his day, so the sub-par effort on his part suprises me not.
remember a little gem called "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey"?  lol
pretty sure Shawshank was the highlight of his career.

keep em comin, doll! we love it!

Shadi was sick a few weeks ago, and then we just sort of lost the motivation to keep doing them because of the weird weather we've been having (it snowed yesterday). William Sadler, yea that's him. I just forgot to check out his name before we did the review.

I'm glad someone likes the reviews! Everyone keeps telling us of things to add, but posting them on youtube, it has to be under 10 minutes, and 10 minutes goes by so quickly. We'll keep working on it.

I really enjoyed the movie. Thought it was a fun ride.

Great vid! I actually watched this flick a couple months ago, but the title didn't ring a bell when I started watching your review. Guess that speaks for how forgettable a flick it is.

The Crazies (2010)
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/lhYPTd6Mmxs&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/lhYPTd6Mmxs&rel=1</a>

I know I know, we didn't really debate. We did, however, make a second video tonight...but I couldn't edit it while this one was posting to youtube. This one we hated, the second one we really liked. We're going to try to catch up on movies this weekend so hopefully we'll have something to really argue about in our next review. The other review we did, Alexandra's Project, will be up tomorrow when I get up.

P.S. The video is still processing, so the quality will improve.

LOL. This one was entertaining, guys. "Don't watch this movie unless you want to kill yourself." lol
We need more dirty looks from you Kat. When Shadi mentioned those "intense moments," man, your turned gaze towards him looked like it could project searing, hot knives. That's great.

I have seen the original The Crazies and I found it to be OK. A better movie about "infected" people from the 70s was done by Jean Rollin - Raisins de la Mort.

Martin and Creepshow are proof that Romero could make compelling cinema outside of his Dead series. I must agree that his last.. what? 3 efforts? were something to be expected from someone just getting their feet wet with die-recting. RIP George A Romero.

There had better not be a sequel to this modern The Crazies. Stupid.

edits: too many damn typos

Oh I forgot he did Creepshow! I love that movie.

My friends in high school would always tell me that I always made the same face...that I didn't have a lot of expressions. Shadi says the opposite. It's pretty funny. I'm glad you like my faces. I made a LOT during this, but we were like almost 5 minutes over the time allowed for a youtube video, so I had to cut a lot out. :(

I'm not sure if I've seen Raisins de la Mort. It sounds familiar. I'll check into it in the morning.

I did notice the cut. I thought you had gone mad hatter on him for a second but had to censor that lol

Grapes of Death is a Jean Rollin film, so generally it's slow moving yet surreal and erotic. Dunno if that is your cup o tea. As I've come to notice, you don't like tea so much : x
