I had my peak of Schnaas fandom around 2008 I believe it was, which was also around the time I met him. Have since lost interest in most of his new stuff - Unrated was so-so (Karl the Butcher singing was badass), Don't Wake the Dead was pretty boring, and let's just say I have absolutely no interest in Violent Shit 4.0 anymore at all. It has nothing to do with me meeting him because he couldn't possibly have been a nicer guy to talk to. His films are just less unique nowadays, and especially when he is making something with Timo Rose (probably a worse director than Schnaas). I don't mind any of the films that had came out before 2008, but have no interest in newer stuff. The Violent Shit trilogy will always be close to heart, my favorite being the second for some reason, so it was fun to revisit the trilogy with this podcast. I think you were all fair, acknowledged its crapness but also got some entertainment out of it.
