Anyone read any?

I'm a huge ass Troma fan.  Especially of the flicks by sir Kaufman.  His books are all hilarious.  Especially his autobiography All I Need To Know About Filmmaking I Learned From The Toxic Avenger.  Good stuff.

ANYBODY!?

Buuuut, considering I praise Kaufman left and right, despite all the shit he gets around here, I've only read 'Make Your Own Damn Movie' from him. Which is very funny...but deals in a lot of technical stuff on how to, well, Make Your Own Movie.

I intend on reading 'Everything I Learned...' eventually.

I've been toying with the idea of buying that as well. They had it at the Troma booth during Comic-Con, but it was a touch pricey for a blind-buy. Wasn't sure what I'd be getting myself into.

Same here. Great book and a great read even if you don't intend on making your own damn movie.

At parts the DVD is just entertainment, not as much learning, but I did get some tips I've been using myself. I also love the documentary All The Love You Cannes that comes with it.

A friend said the book wasn't very good to learn from, but I'm not sure, he might just be retarded, who's to say ::)
