Soo.. what do they mean Mother and Barking Dog are going to be released separate??

Probably means you can buy all three movies in the boxset, or buy them separately.

'Grindhouse: Special Edition' Announced for Bluray

At last! Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez' B-movie double feature will finally be re-released in a special edition Bluray set this October!

In an early announcement to retailers, Vivendi is working on 'Grindhouse: Special Edition' for a Bluray release on October 5.

Both 'Planet Terror' and 'Death Proof' have already been released on home video separately, much to the dismay of the films' fans.

Specs and supplements haven't been confirmed yet, but suggested list price for the 2-disc Bluray set is only $19.97.

You can find the latest specs for 'Grindhouse: Special Edition' linked from our Bluray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under October 5.

It was very low budget I recall, but I enjoyed the prequel. I like the anime film better.
