Nonnie eh? There's a name I don't miss.

As for the topic at hand, began watching Visiting Hours which I am pleasantly surprised with thus far. Most reviews I've read are less than favorable but I find it to be quite tense for a horror/thriller picture. Thankfully William Shatner does not appear to be in it often--most of the screen time is devoted to Michael Ironside, who is one bad fucker.

That's complete bullshit. I never understood how it can be construed as "anti-feminist" when the feminist prevails in the end.

In any case, I did finish Visiting Hours tonight and although I enjoyed it overall the first 50 minutes went down a lot easier than the last 40 minutes. Perhaps it was a matter of momentum that was lost as it took 2 nights to watch it but the latter half was not nearly as exhilerating.

Although it's been awhile I remember enjoying Phantom of the Paradise immensely. It was a vivid, spontaneous joy with very catchy music and a nice twist on the Phantom of the Opera play.
